Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish musician, singer and songwriter. Corr was first noticed in the year 1990, with The Corrs, a Celtic pop and rock band The Corrs, alongside Caroline Sharon Jim. Andrea Corr (born Andrea Corr) is a famous Irish singer, musician and songwriter. She has been awarded the distinction of being a member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) and is better known as a member of the Celtic folk and pop-rock group The Corrs. She sings and plays a variety of instruments with the group. Beginning her acting career in 1991 Andrea later emerged as an accomplished musician and stage performer. She worked as an actor in the playback of 1998 Warner Bros. animated film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea's career as an artist is diverse. Andrea has received awards for her work in the field of charity too. Andrea is the wife of her stockbroker partner and has two children. Andrea started her musical lessons by playing the Tin-whistle. Gerry was her teacher at the time she began to learn the piano. Andrea also plays the ukulele. In her teens, she spent time learning to play the instrument. She worked alongside her sisters and brothers to be the lead singer of the group. Andrea was a student at Dun Lughaidh Convent and was a part of many school productions.
