Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is a Mexican American Sportcaster. She currently works as a sportscaster for ESPN in the role of anchor for SportsCenter news and hosting SportsNation. The first time she worked for ESPN in 2016. The daughter of TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual since she was nine years old. It was a helpful ability that allowed her to secure her first position as a production assistant for Univision in Miami where she had an opportunity to work with producers of national shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. She was hired as an reporter at an affiliate of the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate immediately following the interview. She moved into Rio Grande Valley in 2009 in order to join the team of reporters at KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish channels KNVO TV 48 Univision, and Fox2 News. In the same capacity for Primer Impacto on UniMas Network in addition to Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta Collins was born and raised in the city of Veracruz, Mexico. The family moved into Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in November 1985. She's older than her sister. In 1992, the family moved out of Mexico and moved to Miami. In 1992, her parents split and shortly afterward in 1995 she married Fabio Fajardo, a naval engineer who passed away in the year 2006 due to kidney cancer. As a senior in high school but having a clear vision of about what she wanted to pursue in her future, Antonietta visited The University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her requirements. It turned out that she was a fan of the university and they were offering the major she was looking for. Following the completion of her high school studies, she entered the university to study media studies. Professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was participant in her class formed a strong relationship with her. He guided her to become confident and self-confident. His passion for journalism deeply affected her, as did she. She strived to live up to the expectations of him and not disappoint him.
